Making golf More Affordable - and More Accessible
Golf is one of the greatest sports in the world, but getting out and playing regularly isn't always easy.
A round of golf can mean green fees, fuel, equipment, food and drinks, and four or five hours out of your day. For someone trying to improve their game, play a couple of times a week or simply enjoy golf with their mates, the cost and time can quickly add up.
At Fairways Golf Studio, we want to help change that.
Golf should be easier to play
We love traditional golf, and nothing will replace walking onto the first tee on a great course.
But we also think there should be another way to enjoy the game.
A way to play before work. After work. Late at night. When it's raining. When you only have an hour spare.
That's why we're building Fairways.
Our goal is to create a place where you can practise, play and enjoy golf more often, without needing to organise half your day around it.
More golf for your money
One of the biggest ideas behind Fairways is simple:
We want to make playing golf regularly more affordable.
Rather than paying every single time you want to practise or play, our memberships are being designed to give golfers regular access to premium simulator technology for a predictable monthly cost.
For someone who wants to play several times a week, that can make a big difference.
Come in for an hour after work. Work on your driver. Play nine holes with a mate. Practise your wedges. Jump on for a quick session on the weekend.
The more you use Fairways, the more value you get from your membership.
Golf for more people
Affordability is only part of it.
Golf can sometimes feel intimidating when you're new to the game.
There's etiquette to learn, pace of play to worry about and the pressure of having other golfers behind you. For someone who's never played before, stepping onto a golf course for the first time can be a big leap.
Fairways is being designed to remove some of that pressure.
You don't need to be a low-handicap golfer.
You don't even need to have a handicap.
You can bring your mates, learn at your own pace, hit some terrible shots, have a laugh and start enjoying the game.
And if you're already an experienced golfer, you'll have access to the technology and data needed to take your practice seriously.
Beginner or experienced, you're welcome here.
Less time travelling. More time playing.
For busy golfers, sometimes the biggest cost isn't money. It's time.
Finding a tee time, driving to the course, warming up and playing 18 holes can easily take up a large part of the day.
Fairways isn't trying to replace that experience.
We're trying to make golf easier to fit around it.
If you've only got an hour available, that should still be enough time to play golf.
With 24/7 access, our members will be able to book a simulator around their own schedule rather than arranging their schedule around golf.
More than a simulator
Most importantly, we don't want Fairways to feel like you're hiring a screen for an hour.
We're building a club.
A place to meet other golfers, bring your mates, practise your game, play famous courses, compete in leagues, watch major sporting events and spend time with people who enjoy golf as much as you do.
Because making golf more accessible isn't just about lowering the cost.
It's about making it easier to be part of the game.
Always in Play.
That's ultimately what Always in Play means to us.
Golf shouldn't have to be something you only get to do every few weeks.
We're building Fairways so more people can play more often, for less, and on their own schedule.
Whether you're chasing a lower handicap, picking up a club for the first time or just looking for somewhere to play with your mates, we want Fairways to be your place.

Why Getting Better at Golf Is Now Easier Than Ever
Golf has always been a difficult game to master.
For years, improving meant spending hours at the driving range, guessing what went wrong with each shot and hoping that hitting another bucket of balls would eventually make you better.
Today, that's changing.
Technology has completely transformed the way golfers can practise, understand their swing and improve their game. At Fairways Golf Studio, we want to make that technology accessible to everyday golfers.
Stop guessing. Start knowing.
One of the hardest things about practising golf traditionally is knowing why a shot did what it did.
Why did that drive slice?
Why did the ball launch too high?
Why did that iron come up 15 metres short?
Without data, you're often relying on feel.
Modern launch-monitor technology changes that.
At Fairways, our TrackMan-powered simulator bays will give you instant feedback on every shot, including things like:
Carry distance
Club speed
Ball speed
Launch angle
Spin rate
Club path
Face angle
Shot shape
Instead of simply seeing that your ball went right, you can start understanding why it went right.
And once you understand the problem, improving becomes a lot easier.
Make every practice session count
Hitting 100 golf balls doesn't necessarily make you better.
Hitting 50 balls with a purpose can.
One of the biggest advantages of simulator practice is being able to structure your sessions around specific parts of your game.
Spend 20 minutes working on wedges.
Dial in your distances.
Test different ball flights.
Work on your driver.
Practise hitting specific targets.
Then finish by playing a few holes.
You're no longer just hitting balls into an open field. You're getting immediate feedback from every shot and building a much clearer picture of your game.
Know your actual distances
Ask most amateur golfers how far they hit each club and you'll probably get an optimistic answer.
Knowing your real carry distances can immediately help you make better decisions on the course.
Instead of thinking:
"I reckon my 7-iron goes about 160."
You can actually know.
Building a proper distance chart for your clubs means standing over a shot on the course with far more confidence.
145 metres to the pin.
You know the club.
You know the carry.
Now you just have to hit the shot.
Practise situations you actually face on the course
Traditional driving ranges are great, but you're generally hitting from the same position toward the same targets.
Simulator golf allows you to practise differently.
You can play famous courses, hit approach shots from different distances and put yourself into situations that feel much closer to actually playing golf.
Instead of hitting driver 30 times in a row, you might hit:
Driver → 7 iron → wedge → putt.
Then start again on the next hole.
You're practising golf rather than simply practising your swing.
Practise more often
Improvement ultimately comes down to consistency.
And consistency is difficult when golf depends on daylight, weather, tee times and having several hours available.
That's one of the biggest reasons we're making Fairways 24/7.
If you've got an hour before work, practise.
If you've got an hour after dinner, practise.
If it's pouring rain outside, practise.
If you want to play nine holes at 10pm, play nine holes.
You shouldn't need half a day available just to work on your golf game.
Track your progress
One of the most motivating parts of technology-based practice is being able to see improvement.
Maybe your driver dispersion gets tighter.
Maybe your average carry increases.
Maybe your wedge distances become more consistent.
Maybe that slice you've been fighting starts becoming a controlled fade.
Small improvements can be difficult to notice when you're simply hitting balls at the range.
Data makes them visible.
And seeing yourself improve makes you want to keep going.
Technology doesn't replace practice. It makes practice smarter.
There are no shortcuts in golf.
You still have to put in the work.
But golfers now have access to information and technology that previous generations could only dream of.
The opportunity is to use it properly.
Practise with purpose. Understand your numbers. Track your progress. Play more often.
That's what we want Fairways to make possible.
Whether you're trying to break 100 for the first time, get down to single figures or simply stop losing three golf balls every round, getting better at golf has never been more accessible.
And soon, you'll be able to do it whenever you want.
